The Crawford Historical Society, which operates the Crawford Historical Museum in Crawford, Nebraska, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the past for future generations. We are located in downtown Crawford in the city's oldest brick commercial building. The museum features a wide range of area artifacts dating from ancient times to the present. We also have an extensive collection of local photographs, yearbooks, and obituaries.

The Society

The Crawford Historical Society and Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history and culture of Crawford and the surrounding rural area. We have an extensive collection of local photographs and newspaper obituraries and raise awareness about Crawford's history through the museum and special events.

The Crawford Historical Society and Museum is an entirely volunteer organization receiving no tax monies for its support and relying on the generosity of its members, friends, and visitors for funding. All staff are volunteers from the community or are from the local Foster Grandparents program.

The Museum operates under a federal 501(c)(3) mandate which allows most donations from our benefactors to be claimed as tax deductions.
